This is actually the norm for ultra wealthy parents Billionaires usually work and travel a LOT and don't always see their kids much, especially the ones that are at the head of an empire kind of like Madonna is (her music, her gyms, her stupid coconut water, her DVDs, her tours, her orphanages in Malawi, her clothing line, etc etc).

I know there's times where Kris Jenner didn't even know her teenage daughters flew to NY for a photoshoot. It's probably more common than you think.
