when it comes to music she hasn't changed a thing because dance already made a huge comeback in 2005 with M's "confessions on a dance floor" which was a huge success. i don't know who set the trend back and I'm not saying M did but I do know it happened years before gaga did, so musically nothing would have changed.

when it comes to outfits and controversy there are more try hards and gimmicks now. the LGBT supporting also feels less authentic after gaga came along. it all became an obvious marketing strategy.

Gaga's biggest hits might be with RedOne (besides Born This Way, tho...) but K$ has no hits without Luke.

It was def. already there, with Bowie in well almost every era he has done.
In the 80's with Grace Jones and in the 90's with Madonna and Marilyn Manson etc. but in the 2000's, like a couple years before Gaga everything got a bit boring, it was all the same tbh...

She def. made everybody put in more effort.
But Rihanna helped that as well although I do believe that Gaga made her work harder on her image as well.
