There's nothing wrong with wanting to experience another culture. They are just part of the Otaku subculture which revolves mostly around anime and manga. It isn't confined to only Japan. Some people tend to take it to excess, but it's part of how they identify themselves.

K, I don't condone any of that behavior whatsoever, but those guys are definitely a minority of the military.
There are bad eggs in every group, everywhere...

It feels like a reach to apply this to every single member of the armed forces in Afghanistan.

- Little Monsters choose the worst single choices for ARTPOP. Do you really think "Fashion!" and "Swine" will play on the radio !!!?
- Beyoncé is amazing but her album is certainly not the best thing since sliced bread.
- It's really annoying how ATRL has these little snobs and you can't give an opinion on something before they jump on your throat and say "but you stan (insert Gaga, Nicki, Disney Singers, Ke$ha,etc. here)!!!" like who cares? Your taste is certainly no better than anyone around here and I don't think mine is neither.
By the way, I looove Rihanna and enjoy Justin's music but I need to spill some .

because her look her attitude and everything take her miles hahead of the other girls and she has an interesting story and truly is the baddest bishh. Maybe the way they talk (African vernacular English?), just like there is white culture, Asian cultures, Hispanic culture, though of course people are not forced to conform to their general ethnic culture

Beyonce is INCREDIBLY OVERRATED and it pisses me off how everybody loves her. She is not the Queen of the World and she is in fact supporting very humillianting concepts.
