Lady Gaga: Sensitivity Overdrive Lady Gaga has always made herself a victim -- it's part of her constructed image marketing. But during the entire "ARTPOP" era, it has been amplified to the nᵗʰ degree, ranging from rants against unfavorable reviews to even rants against her own fans, going as far as sternly telling her monsters, "You don't know what's going in my personal life." It's one of the oddest things in recent pop history. Britney Spears didn't even complain this much during her infamous "Blackout Breakdown." Does Lady Gaga need to toughen up? Does she honestly believe that no one is allowed to critique her "art" -- whether it be music, videos, or clothing? Could she really be that egotistical? Is Lady Gaga way too sensitive? Weigh in with your opinions on these issue.

I don't know that it's that she's too sensitive, but rather that she cares too much about pleasing everyone. She has received a large amount of praise in her time which outweighed the negativity. However, now she is struggling against a wave of criticism and is, frankly, drowning. She should accept that not everyone is Team Gaga and try her best to ignore those who criticise her, including fans, because while she may have seen to be doing it before, she cannot please everyone and might as well stop trying to.

Right? It's so embarrassing. It's like Gaga at her peak was just a fake or a facade.

Underneath all of that 'star power' is just some self-pitying, drug addicted drama student who doesn't even know how to deal with criticism & a flop every once in a while.

If anything's destroying her career, it's this emotional breakdown she's seemingly having in the face of adversity.
Yes, no one liked your album, but suck it up & move on. Criticism isn't always an attack.
