Different ages. The game is FAR FAR FAR more physical now.... even those others you mentioned have publicly agreed with that.

It is far harder to win consistently over long periods in today's game

Any of the many matches in which Sharapova gets dog whopped are life-giving To be honest, along with Serena's serve, Sharapova's one-sided defeats to top players is one of the most iconic things about Women's Tennis in the 2000s

Many sportswriters and tennis legends themselves are already proclaiming Serena is in the GOAT discussion.

Also, let's not talk about when Graf and others would roll through the early rounds of the draws without barely losing games. And Court, winning all those AOs when hardly any international players cared to show up and play the (at the time) flop tournament.

You can only play who you're supposed to play.

Not when Graf was arguable the most athletic tennis player of all time, and stayed classy while racking up the Slams...and her Golden Slam stays untouched

Serena is 5 slams away from catching up to Graf, and 1 away from Navratilova and Evert That's like saying Sam Stosur is as great as Kuznetsova Or Kuznetsova as great as Venus or Henin
