Xtina isn't iconic at all. Never has she ever been on Bey's level. Even Britney in the state she's in right now is still more then Xtina. Christina is nothing tbh. a bridesmaid that's standing to the farthest end.

We were talking specifically about what has kept Beyonce relevant in the past few years. None of those are recent except her pregnancy which I mentioned.

Its not that hard to see, think of anytime Bey has attention *****d or got negative press which became a defining part of her career. An example could be the kissing Madonna on stage for Xtine and Brit, or the negative press in 2007 towards Britney. Bey did not need these type of things to start a legacy

Beyonce's pregnancy did get more attention than Christina yes, because she revealed it on national tv and there were allegations that she faked the pregnancy.

Christina's latest albums flopped, but flopping doesn't diminish the iconic status. Madonna has flopped three times and that's not including her side projects, does that mean she's not an icon?

The fact is that your fave has praised Xtina on air for being a trendsetter. Her words, not mine. I agree that Bey is an icon and since she acknowledged Christina, not just in a positive way, but sighting her as a rolemodel and a blueprint, that means Christina is an icon too. Simple logic.

Only one person of the three has been able to make moves to make their presence felt outside a cluster of years a decade ago.

It's one thing being a teen idol, but without proving yourself as you mature. It's hard to solidify yourself as a bonafide icon outside circles of pop culture enthusiasts who are perhaps a bit too nostalgic.

In Christina's case, I don't feel she's had the spirit to maintain her position, but I wouldn't rule her out in future. She just needs to find out the direction which works best for her.
