No but I'm not going to be a complete hater and deny her impact with Beautiful and Lady Marmalade but in the grand scheme of things she's bottom tier when it comes to being iconic.
Britney is the biggest icon of this century, even if she doesn't go out of her house ever again
Beyonce is getting bigger and is close to be a legend in a few years
Sis you've posted MULTIPLE times in this thread and have failed to provide a valid argument... Either discuss it or keep your little comments out of this thread.
Not you literally describing your own posts and trying to use it as shade towards me
The GP 100% knows of it. Even my 60 year old family members knew of it
Your 60 year old relative knowing about it doesn't mean most people know/care. Most people I know don't/don't care. And even if they do hear about it, they can't grasp what it means the way people who follow music do.
Most people still find out about music through radio.
If she wasn't iconic or if she wasn't a big deal as some of you claim she wouldn't have survived 2 flop albums like she did. Most artists are out of the business soon as they underperform, let alone flop. But she's still here, relevant as ever, with a #1 tv show and a Top 5 hit duet whose renewed popularity can only be attributed to her.
By the way, for all those saying that her impact ended after 'Stripped' and that Beyonce is on a whole another level, I'll leave this here
Let me quote it just in case
Quote:
I feel like it's my responsibility to be a trendsetter and there are certain artists like Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera that don't really try to be like everybody else and I feel like I'm one of those artists as well
I love beyonce but I don't see her as iconic. She's like a Mariah Carey. I super successful artist with worldwide acclaim but she lacks the controversy to actually become an icon like let's say madonna Britney or lady gaga
NO. Look at her "career" and look where she is now. No one is interested in any new music she releases, if they even know about it, and she can't even tour because of lack of interest. The Voice is all she has and has made her a reality show celebrity. We all know the longevity of those.
You are trying it.
Britney maybe sold more with THE ALBUM but single wise Christina's debut was way more iconic and Genie is just as iconic as BOMT.
Britney sold 14 million with her debut in the US and Christina sold 9 million, okay Britney wins when it comes to the album sales but Christina got 3 #1's off that album alone and Britney only got one and the singles of BOMT underperfomed to say the least.
Both made huge impacts in pop culture with their debut days.
Britney's singles did not underperform. They weren't released.
Yes, I'd say they are all equally iconic. However someone's legacy has more to do with their longevity than their current status, so in that regard ask this same question in ten years. I can guarantee you that Britney will be nothing more than a memory like Paula Abdul or The Spice Girls, unless of course something tragic happens.
Beyonce & Christina on the other hand built their careers off raw talent and despite their flops, they always manage to rise again and exceed everyone's expectations. They are true superstars and have both been out longer than Britney (Reflection & No No No came before BOMT) and they are still relevant on the charts 15 years later.
Beautiful alone is already more iconic than all of them combined. That song will live on forever.
What are Xtina's iconic moments? Can someone tell me.
Beautiful. The song and video. That's it.
Beyonce's entire career is iconic basically while Britney's success and iconic moments are represented every Halloween when many of the world's biggest celebs dress up AS Britney.
The OP is jus embarrassing Christina at this point, and highlighting the fact that she's a an underachiever.
This Iconic thing is all so subjective. List what's iconic about all 3 and just weigh your options and go from there. Some of these replies are just...
Beyonce's new album release isn't iconic. It was a good strategy but the GP doesn't know/care about that. And Beyonce's wig may have gotten some attention, just like Christina's outfits and her weight have.
And Xtina hasn't been unchecked in that time period. She's very much been in the public eye since 2011 with The Voice and her collabs
The fact that she needs to be on TV every week to stay in people's minds
Or that she needs collabs to finally get a hit
And still can't sell albums #JusticeForBionic #JusticeForLotus #JusticeForAnyOfChristina'sFutureEndeavors

You're either iconic or not. There are no levels of iconicness. They all are music female icons. Both Britney and Beyoncé have had more memorable career moments, but that doesn't diminish Christina's career.
Aguilera hasn't lived up to her potencial and she is paying the price. She will always be regarded as one of the best vocalist of all time, and she was one of the most successful female singers in the '00s (second only to Britney according to Billboard) that will be enough to make her somehow memorable to future generation.
