Yes, listen to Pearl again. And that's not the point, the point is you could throw all those songs on TD and it would make no difference and vise versa.

Katy Perry is way more talented, a better singer and is clearly in charge. I think she'll change it up after Prism, I mean she has that guy from M83 lined up to work with her for example and I'd be surprised if she completely ignores him. And for what it's worth, Katy was already on Rihanna's "level" during Teenage Dream while Rihanna has been stagnant for ever since GGGB.

Rihanna's peak is Umbrella and there's only so much Eminem collaborations, nudity, filler-infested albums she can keep on delivering. I don't think she changes her sound and image as drastically as some people make out.

I can see Katy Perry FULLY crossing over into other genres unlike Rihanna who just borrows little elements of certain genres for a song here or there.
