I agree it wouldn't have been a smash hit, but if they had released it to iTunes the same day they released it to radio (The week before the album release) it easily would've had a peak at least 10 spots higher than it's actual #14 peak. Then maybe the #1 on iTunes exposure would've led to more interest in the song in general?
It did sound pretty bad on radio though. Heard it in my friends car once, awful.
