Kelly was paid well in DC, just like any other group, so please stop. Most artists money don't come from record sales anyway, especially not features Tell me where she found a $40 million dollar movie role Kelly has had a variety of high profile things outside of music ventures. Ashanti has not.

Kelly was only paid $1M for TXF US + £500K (which is around $850K) for TXF UK.

I think it depends more on how much an artist is paid for what they do than how much things they're doing. That applies to every artist, not just Kelly.

Kelly sold over 6M solo albums?
Outside of DC, she's been credited as an artist in the top ten ONCE.
Ashanti's boxoffice career has a total of over 350M. Over 150M more than Kelly.
The only thing that has saved Kelly really is the X Factor. Ashanti definitely has more money in the bank.
