And they nearly killed the momentum of the debut era by releasing I turnT to you

Seriously, she would have more of an urban/rhythmic base if not for that

Her debut was the best in terms of how they marketed her. She had Pop, Rhythmic, and Latin radio on lock And even got some AC and HAC

I glad they released I Turn To You and Come On Over Baby did fine afterwards so I think the momentum was killed per se.
Just shows Christina her power.
I Turn To You is cute but it had no business being a single. She had a couple of proper smashes on the album
