I don't get the hate for Through The Rain, that vocal climax >>>
And The Wind is flaw free on every level.
Yes, sis. Whenever I have a bad day, I go home and listen to that song, and that part makes me feel so empowered. It's perfect to listen to just before Triumphant.
And does anyone have that gif of MC smiling on Idol that's edited so she looks fat? I can't find it

Now this I will stan for for life. A fresh medley that doesn't include the tired old Hero. Those vocals during We Belong Together. Give me life, Queen.
I didn't really like this Too many songs for 5 minutes and it became awkward
I don't use the studio version of Through The Rain but the live version of Tthrough The Rain slays. Better vocals, backup vocals, and cuts down on one verse of whispery mess.

I had hoped that Christina was in a better place now than the last time I saw her, when she showed up uninvited at one of my parties and displayed questionable behavior. It is sad yet predictable that she would use my name at this time to reinvent past incidents for her promotional gain. It is in my heart to forgive and I will keep her in my prayers]
This always makes me laugh. So what exactly was the questionable behavior?

I could of easily listed every song from Charmbracelet (bar BOTH), but that would of been a cop out., as errbody knows that whole album ranks as everyone's least favourite.
For me E=MC2 is the least favorite. I waited 3 years to be underwhelmed by the vocals and production of this album, after the magnificence of TEOM. Charmbracelet at least made up for the vocals with exceptional lyricism, can't say the same for E=MC2.

I kinda agree, but I tend to not put post-2005 Mariah on a pedestal. Like I don't really have any expectations to ha anymore because she basically did it all one and two decades ago. E=MC^2 is really light and fun and I love it for what it is, but it fades when compared to Charmbracelet and The Emancipation of Mimi as far as lyrics are concerned.

Exactly, E=MC2 taught me that lesson. She is human after all, not everything is gonna be a masterpiece. I guess if she had fun making the records that's all that matters. Her legendary status at this stage cannot be touched.

On the other side, you know she once served Breakdown and Underneath the Stars, which means she must have it in her. So whenever she's doing post-2005 music it's just
#Beautiful was a step in the right direction though. But Imma need the greatest singer alive to step it up with her live performances. TAOLG was cute, but it should be a bonus track or reduced to an interlude imo.
Thanks sis! (I still cringe at the fact that I'm calling someone sis. only on ATRL. But really thanks for the warning. U guys are the best.
I'm actually a female so it's spot on for once. I see what you mean though, ATRL changed us all.

I think Charmbracelet (to me) slays because of her live vocals during promo and on tour, she sounded amazing in my opinion during that 2002-2004 period.
The sustained notes, the whistles, the body
Also, Subtle Invitation, The One, Yours, Through The Rain, My Saving Grace, Clown, okay I seriously love almost the entire album
