@bwerde If high airplay and buzz is out of sync with iTunes sales...that's actually not common. It's not normal in today's music industry

@luvRockstar101 there is nothing normal about the Beyoncé album tho. Every other project you cited had advance singles/months of set-up.

@bwerde Beyonce had advanced promo and hype. She performed at the Superbowl, Presidential inauguration, and ppl were EXPECTING a release
Bill Werde @bwerde 13m
@luvRockstar101 a relatively small # of artist-specific fans expecting a release is not the same as mass-awareness of new music via radio

@bwerde Let me remind you that we are discussing "Beyonce" who some people claim is the second coming of Michael Jackson.

. @luvRockstar101 one could also say that Beyoncé has now sold a million+ copies of 15 different singles in 3 weeks. It's called an album.
nnnn
This is so damn pathetic. Who does this?
They started Rihanna's career as a Beyoncé clone for her first two albums, and then on her 3rd marketed her as antibey (even though she still received comparisons), Rated R was all thanks to Chris Brown (most critically acclaimed album of hers), and she also used the rumors between Chris & Drake fighting over her during the LOUD era to her advantage. WFL is about Chris.
Like every era of hers is successful because of another artist. A mess.
