By the way if you want to help Dark Horse you can request it at these stations. You'll notice some are repeated and that's due to the city having more than one top 40 station.

#2 very soon
Like someone said, I don't want Dark Horse to get too ahead of itself and end up peaking digitally sooner than on radio.
DH is too powerful, nothing will stop it Radio needs to start picking up though. Once they see DH's popularity they'll hop right on the animal.
Your avi is too perfect
You're right, we shouldn't be worried. The only competition Katy had was Say Something but that if compared to Dark Horse feels like a unfulfilled promise.
I don't think requesting does anything for the song. Stations don't rely on that anymore, and if they do, the effect is minimal.
Agreed. These days it's all about call out research.
I know the Gaga Stans have stormed ratethemusic.com and have inflated her standings there. Radio programmers aren't stupid so I'm not even sure that has as much impact anymore.
I think radio programmers look to iTunes to see what consumers want more than anything. I think the callout scores are purely anonymous. Ratethemusic means nothing.

That does not explain the radio slayage of Love Somebody (?) by Maroon 5 last year tho, it wasn't even in the iTunes top 40 yet it was #3 on radio
