THIS! LOUD success is all due to marketing, it has very little to do with the album quality. I guarantee if Rihanna were to ease up on the twitter beefs and dress to impress everyday (more feminine) again R8 will have great sales.

- Not to mention Rih's sex appeal was at an all time high back then. The LOUD cover was pretty; it drew people in.
