Exactly! It's probably a problem that I'm saying this as a moderator, but I get really ****ing bothered when people come for Born This Way. I'm an impulsive and emotional type of stan anyway, but literally nobody has any need to come for that record. It helped probably millions of people worldwide who needed the help, and the support. When the whole album is about self-acceptance, self-exploration, positivity and unity as a whole, coming for it based on things like sales is just terrible. People should evaluate the piece of work based on its intent, and nobody does that with her last two records. What was the real intent of ARTPOP? To be a more fun, less "preachy" electronic record - it's the era that should be criticized for some of her attempts at art, not the album. By the very same token, what was Born This Way? It wasn't made to be the "album of the decade" and sell 30 million records and slay everyone or what-the-****-ever a hater says - it was made to be our album of the decade, a piece of work that her fans could use when they most needed it and keep close to their hearts because it shows them their own worth when they need it, you know? I needed someone to tell me everything she said, many of her other fans needed someone to say what she did. That's what it's about, and anyone who doesn't see that simply doesn't understand.

I remember when she said that the music on ARTPOP would sound a bit like Stache I puked a bit but praise the lawd, the zedd productions on ARTPOP are amazing
I never understood the hate for half the songs on Born This Way all of the songs hooked me first listen (excluding Americano ) But, imo Bad Kids is one of the best songs on the album.

The live version of Swine is amazing, and gave me the wrong idea of what to expect from ARTPOP. It does give me hope that she'll do something interesting in the future though.

Stache is amazing but it was already a Zedd song so it's ok it was never on the album (cough what about the app though)
