35 million albums (Beyonces career US sales) at $15.99 = $559,650,000
100 million singles at $1.29 = $129,000,000
Rihanna loses.
15 million albums (Beyoncé US solo sales) at $15.99 = $239,850,000
100 million singles at $1.29 = $129,000,000
Rihanna loses.
35 million albums (Beyonces career US sales) at $15.99 = $559,650,000
100 million singles at $1.29 = $129,000,000 + 10 million albums (Rihanna US sales) at $15.99 = $159,900,000
Rihanna loses.
So basically, Rihannas 7 albums and multiple singles are trumped by Beyonces albums only before we even count singles.
Truly, a second place bitch.
And that's not considering the fact that Rihanna has discounted her albums to 99 cents multiple times.
Not considering that Beyonce albums usually sale for $18.99 in the US.

And Katy's voice is incredibly grating and hard to listen to, especially live.

Live is a different case but it works in the studio for Katy.
Rihanna the same, her voice is not a priory beautiful but she has the edge especially in studio and TV shows.

Excuse me sweetie but at the end of 2011 (Beyonces flop era) she was still close to Rihannas in singles sales.
And she didn't even debut in the digital era, Rihanna peaked during the rise of the digital single.
This doesn't even count the Dangerously In Love era nor Destiny's Child.

A lot has happened since 2011.
Rihanna released 2 albums and WFL has sold 5 million singles in the US, broadening the gap between them further

Which means nothing since she has only sold another 2.5 million albums in the US.
Beyonce has sold another 3 million *and counting.

Madonna her 200 million worldwide album sells x $15.99 = $3,198,000,000.
Does this mean Madonna wins again? I think it does.

We were doing US sales, and until it can be proven that Fossil sold 200 million albums worldwide, which I firmly doubt is true to begin with, we will leave this battle to women who do not have accounts at aarp.com.
You're welcome

It's funny how you choose to use the money made as comparison instead of the actual units sold
Obviously more albums sold at a higher price will make more money than more singles but sold at a cheaper price
If we look at total US record sales, albums+singles in units sold, Rihanna > Beyonce.
