There isn't a little black girl/teen/woman that hasn't worn braids, cornrows or plaits at some point. That has nothing to with Brandy. She was known for them because she always wore them, but that is a cultural (and convenience) thing, not a "Brandy" thing. Braids have always been everywhere in Black culture.
