"Venus" is so odd, cause it’s very catchy, and has the potential to smash (even my cousin who mainly likes more urban/hip-hop music like Frank Ocean, Drake, the Weeknd, etc. likes it)… but then that bridge happens. The bridge is the only thing that would stop it from smashing. I think if it had a different structure, it would have potential to be a top 10 hit.

* Longer 2nd verse
* "I can’t help the way I’m feeling" pre-chorus

The bridge could've been her singing “Neptune, Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Venus, Mars, serve for the Gods and serve for the stars! Get ready for it, descend your disco balls, and help me feel the love, HELP ME FEEL THE LOVE”. For the final chorus, Gaga would be adlibbing likes like “TAKE ME TO THE PLANET, TAKE ME TO YOUR VENUS, LET ME FEEL THE LOVE, MAKE ME FEEL THE LOVE”. idk
