nah it's mostly countries outside of the US who do it. like one of my cousins lives in england and came over to visit and even he was rolling a joint with tobacco in it. I was like what the f*** are you doing, but it actually uses less weed and still has the same effect so I can see why people do it

I didn't miss it, no. The taxes point has interested me the most in the legalization debate. I just wanted to broaden the conversation and make a better pitching point than continuing the argument of "alcohol's legal and it's more harmful."

I'm still curious about the non-tobacco way of smoking in the U.S. tho. I didn't think it would be smokable. Sounds rough.

People who refer to smoking pot as "doing drugs" are so dramatic.

The legal distribution and taxation of pot is such a no brainer, I hope this system works well for Colorado and it can start setting a positive example for other areas to follow suit and stop laws that continue to rely on and reinforce misinformation and propaganda.

And what happens the next time we reach a state of crisis financially? Ecstasy is legalised? Will people be saying, "Well it's not as dependant as crack!!"?? Don't be blind, this isn't to stop drug dealers/underground economies, they're still going to keep going (and maybe even prosper with 0 tax on their own stuff) - it's to get more taxes from the people because the economy is a big me$$, so instead of the government doing the right thing and going after the people who caused it, they're legalising something that doesn't need to be legal.

I can imagine kids being born now in Colorado, growing up with that as the norm. Another drug for them to be readily able to buy
