Was written for the Llord. Emeli kept it for herself- but it's got that same kinda sound as With Ur Love or Grow Up.
2nd ablum should be catchy, classy urban-tinged pop. Her and Charles are on the same label- Livin It Up and Overdose should have been saved for Cher whilst Colin did more Body Partys and Where You Gos.
This would've been great for Cher, it's so good. Emeli could save a lot of careers with just her pen.
I would like to see solo writing with maybe a collaboration or two. I would like her to work with experienced producers for the majority of the tracks, but producers that are a departure from Max Martin. She learned from the best in pop and now I want her to try something new.
I really want the lead single to be a true crossover. Not like "Red"/"Mine". I feel like now is the time when a song could actually dominate pop, alternative, and country at the same time (not that alternative would play her).
Dead is so bad. I think as long as she doesn't try to recreate WANEGBT, she'll be fine.
