They are actually way better than they ever were. Mandibuzz, Bisharp, Mega Absol, Greninja etc. Not to mention the Knock Off buff which is extremely effective. They also resist Ghost, which is big and Fairy attacks aren't common at all.
Fairy is a great typing but it isn't OP tbh, they also lack big names that represent the typing.
Ice is indeed still trash, however.
Psychic remains the worst typing ever though.
