The Hive acting all like "Beyonce got no promo blah blah" yet the surprise album is the biggest promo ever, got everyone takling, seventeen ****ing videos uploaded at the same time etc... It was a genious plan by her marketing team. But people buy the album because of hype, not because of music, just like btw, hence her singles will all flop/underperform.
Why can't they just get along or ignore each other.

I mean I'd promote and overrate my fave and let the receipts speak for itself, not DRAG other artists. Its so dumb
But hey at least we know that they consider ICON as some sort of threat to their fave, so its interesting to watch
The only good song imo is Drunk In Love. Everyone is praising that Flawless song but to me it's so annoying I had to delete it even from recycle bin (shift+delete)

Why can Navy/Hive get along? Both women are great in their own way. And I am not just saying that because I like both. Because if ur missing something in one, you will find it in the other.

I agree. She was in the news constantly throughout 2013 and the hype was built during the whole year, hence why everyone was trying to figure out where the music was. Her album was truly more anticipated than most of the pop girls even though she didn't do "traditional" promo.
Her team was smart because they solved a lot of Beyonce's problems by releasing this way. She's not a good single-seller, so release all the songs at once and see what people like. Some of the songs are a biT basic and boring, so add interesting visuals that tell a story and get people interested. It was a brilliant marketing move because it hides/fixes all of Beyonce's flaws as an artist and it brings her massive sales. I know so many people were impulse buying. Kiiii at the Hive thinking she would do the same numbers had she used a traditional marketing plan.
