As for Roar, last week it was at 750k. Currently at #19 & #36 on iTunes, no wonder it sold 56,000 in a week.

Roar is a more success in Europe, Royals in America.
In Australia are equally successful.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I dont think Team or Tennis court smashed hard in Australia where Lorde is huge. If thats any indicator of how theyll do elsewhere. They did ok on the momentum from Royals.

Both singles were huge in New Zealand.

Applause was a hit in the US, but in Australia it underperfomed (you can't say it flopped cause its Platinum).

It's not always the same story in both countries.

Australia's chart situation with Lorde is odd. Royals was not allowed to chart there, because its sales counted toward The Love Club EP sales, or something like that. Team/Tennis Court both peaked in the low top 20, but I'm not sure if this is related to an issue like with Royals.

They both went platinum.

Tennis Court was released in Australia before Royals even peaked - I think they thought Royals was done and were getting ready to move onto a new single and pushed out Tennis Court, then it unexpectedly came up and overshadowed it. Royals didn't peak in Australia for a month and a half after Tennis Court's release.

Team was a relative dud when it was released, but that was way back in September, before the album came out, and it had no support whatsoever. The very first performance of Team ever was at the end of November, and she hadn't even made a single TV appearance in Australia until the first of December.

I have an excuse for everything.

"Tennis Court" reached a #20 and "Team" #19 in the ARIA.
But soon "Team" will reach a new peak.
