And yeah, MDNA wasn't well received by critics + got its fair share of bad publicity, so I expect another decline. Interest in her has also declined and the gap b/w the tours isn't as large either so all signs point to it.

I think the biggest factor for her touring decline was the S&S tour did a lot of new markets she'd never toured in (South America, Eastern Europe) so obviously there'd be a huge demand. With MDNA she visited them just a few years after and the demand wasn't nearly as big.
I think this will be a huge factor (not the only) if Gaga's next tour underperforms. The BTWB went everywhere and so many rare markets for touring, there will be nowhere to go but down.
