She took a 4 year break b/w S&S and MDNA, the touring market grew quite a bit, and she did the same amount of dates, and still grossed 100 million less. It was a significant decline- she's still the Queen, undoubtedly, but facts are facts.
And yeah, MDNA wasn't well received by critics + got its fair share of bad publicity, so I expect another decline. Interest in her has also declined and the gap b/w the tours isn't as large either so all signs point to it.
If her new album is actually good she could probably do a decent amount more.
