This is wrong, in my opinion. Everything during the "Applause" era was executed perfectly. It wasn't until Troy and Interscope began pushing "Do What U Want" onto Gaga that things fell apart. Troy struck the deal with Beats to include "Do What U Want" in their commercial, and that was his and the label's way of telling Gaga to make it the next single, which Gaga actually listened to. This quick change caused Gaga and her team to have to scramble to accommodate the single change since they had already planned several things for "Venus", like performances and that O2 commercial. And now here we are waiting because the video was delayed for whatever reason. This isn't Gaga's fault, she wanted "Venus" as the next single and had everything planned like a good popstar should. I do not believe it's fair to blame Gaga or her current team when it really wasn't her fault this time around. But I understand the frustration because I'm frustrated as well. We just have to wait for her to announce something.
Anyways, I love the original version but there's something special about the Xtina version. I love their singing at the end.

- not performing it at YT awards. like that was SO dumb..
- not putting the video out well before xmas
- not putting the video out today with xtina remix
- not releasing the xtina remix the day of the voice
like usually i defend her, not blindly but i usually think ya'll are overreacting/doing too much. but with this single, i just cant, it shouldve been a top 3 hit. it couldve been a top 3 hit.

And the irony of it all is that this all happens the one time Gaga decides to trust the label and do as they say. The quick single change sure did mess a lot of things up. I'm not expecting the next single to be so messy.
