Madonna strikes me as caring too much about her work to release two panned albums in a row tho. And before people point out that Hard Candy came before MDNA and also sucked, if I remember correctly that album was pretty well received when it was released and"4 Minutes" was praised (10x bigger than GMAYL was too) ANDDD the tour was huge. So she probably sees the Hard Candy era as a huge success.
