Rec is probably one of the best horror movies I've seen. 1 and two are flawless and have everything I love in horror movies (suspense and scares and no comedy).

I'm scared to watch the third cuz it looks like a joke. I need the 4th like right now.

Will 2014 be a good year for horror movies? 2013 was a good year and we had some movies come out then I feel like randomly they stopped. Besides the sequels what's coming out next year?

The October 10 release date for REC 4 is only for Spain. It may be a while before the rest of the world gets to see it. The same for the February 20 release date for Wolf Creek 2.

I still needs to see The Pact and they are releasing another one. Has anyone seen The Pact and is it any good? I've also seen the trailer for Wolf Creek 2 and this one seems more action based rather than horror this time around. It will be interesting to see how it differs.

They're making The Purge 2? I didn't think the first one was that good, I found it boring. Will the second basically be the same story but different people this time?

The Paranormal Activity The Marked Ones looks quite good and a huge step up from 4. And number 5 is also coming out in October?

Been watching the Elmstreet franchise. The 1st, 4th & 5th of the series was the best IMO.

I highly recommend The Pact. I thought it was scary. I'm looking forward to seeing how The Purge 2 turns out even though I too hated the first one. They already have the cast (check IMDb), but I'm not sure if the movie will be ready by June 20. The story is unknown right now. PA5 has been announced to come out in October. We're getting 2 PA films this year.
