But she's still more iconic and more successful than most of the ones outranking her... Katy... Taylor?
Her ballads have made more impact than their entire careers tbh.
Her tying Michaels record in front of the world and then being given an award by the AMAs kinda put her into everyones mind as being HUGE.
Katy IS the digital era. People should get over it. Everyone despises her over here, but can it be any more obvious ATRL is detached from real life? This is a 2013 list.

Everyone on that list can sing/has talent in some capacity. Britney's exclusion makes perfect sense. She was never a musician. Just a product.
The top 5 is perfect, the order is subjective guys. These 5 women have done so much for music and depending on your taste, you could mix and match however you saw fit. Personally, I think they put Bey at 4 and not 5 or 3 just to match her favorite number. TV producers can be humorous too you know.
