ARTPOP is a great album imo, I just think she sits on Pop music too much. I think she honestly wants to go in more of a Rock/Jazz direction but feels obliged to keep making Pop records for her fans. BTW is her best reviewed album, and that should tell her something.
The critics are here for it, she's here for it, why limit her career for a bunch of lifeless Radio ARTPOP stans? tbh I could see her taking a 2-3 year break for her annoying stans to hit puberty and then come back with a more mature, critically acclaimed sound.
I'll never understand why gaga is so attached to this whole POP notion. shes clearly a diverse artist who doesn't need to be labeled with a specific genre. from now on her music will always be identified as some type of alternative pop so she should just go the route of Bjork and create beautiful art and music that cant be defined by a specific subset of music.
Yes, Gaga is rock/jazz. I mean, she grew up listening to artists such as The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Queen, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Whitney Houston, and Elton John, who all significantly influenced her.[148][149] She also cited heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath as her favorite musicians, so it's no shock that she wants to do rock and jazz stuff even though she has been releasing pop music at the urging of her label[143].
Even if it is supposed to mean 69, it's not clever because in reality it looks nothing like a 69 and that would go over 100% of the general public's heads. If you have to have the person that made it up explain a metaphor to you, it's not a good metaphor
Well she's 27 and people are already clearly not here for it. She'd be stupid to try to make lightning strike a 3rd time.
What she NEEDS to do is bring back 'The Fame Monster'. That's what everyone's here for. It's her best work, and she'll never really be able to top it, but it would at least be sweet to see her try to recreate it.
This whole interview is a damn disaster.
Cher's Twitter exudes more sense than Gaga during this interview.
I mean really, she's turned into an idiotic psychopath.
