Releasing an album like that was a brilliant idea. They knew there were no hits and that it would have sold worse than 4 had she released it the usual way. I guess that's what Columbia kept telling ha until someone came up with this idea.

You know, Britney stans consistently & constantly drag their faves every time they mention 1999-2004.
They realize the Britney of 2013 isn't up to par, and they're embarrassed by her, so they constantly bring up glory days to make up for her shortcomings of today.
It's upsetting that they can't appreciate and love their fave's effort today without having to bring up her efforts from 1999-2004.
THAT's the shade in it all. I don't know if they realize this or not.
