Does anyone know how to fix the speed problem on the Sims 3? I try clicking on the 3x or 4x speeds and it just runs like regular.

Also, what expansion packs are the most fun? I only have TS3 but I wanna branch out.

I'm thinking about Seasons or Pets. Seasons sounds fun because I get bored super easily and it seems like it's a constant change. Pets sounds fun because y'all know I stan for animals.

I like the design for certain things, just not the sims social meets sims 2 people. However at gamescon they did say those were prealpha graphics.

I'm such a huge Sims fan but I've completely ignored Sims 3 because it's so terribly glitchy.

I have one expansion and only played it for half a year last year, and since then I returned to Sims 2. I love the look of Sims 4 so far, even if it's not been too popular.

That was fixed in a patch a while back! Are you certain your game is up to date?

And I really enjoy Seasons and Supernatural, but Showtime is cool as well. I guess seasons does give you more room to do stuff Halloween, Valentine's Day, etc etc and much more

So I go a new laptop (macbook) and I installed the Sims 3.

Now I need to decided which expansions I want on it. Between myself and my sister, I have Ambitions, Seasons, Pets, Nightlife, University, and Generations. I had Generations, Seasons and Ambitions on my old computer. I definitely don't think I'll install Ambitions because it don't use its content enough. Which expansions, if any, do you think I should install or buy?

I'm really looking at buying Island Paradise. Is it worth it? Also, does anyone else run Sims 3 on a Macbook? Mine has 750 GB of storage and 8GB RAM. How does it run for you?

I wasn't sure about it at first, but after seeing CAS I fell in love. I like the designs for the world and buildings more now too.

The best ones are show time, university, late night and Island Paradise IMO.
