Last year radio was mainly playing Mariah though. This year there's a few major Christmas hits. I'm guessing that's what causing the big decrease of the top 5 this year.

It does, but it could be due to the fact that they are playing more Xmas music this time around. Also, remember that the spins and audience numbers have been re-weighted in the past year, so that could also explain the discrepancy between this year's updates and last year's.
