She's not having success simply because she kept doing her thing and the GP is tired of Lady Gaga as they know her.
She is, however, in need of some constructive criticism and of people that just say "no" to her.

AMEN!
ARTPOP is my favorite Gaga album. She's the media girl to bash right now as well - I think its because the music industry is moving towards a minimalist/alternative trend. Since Gaga was one of the figureheads of controversy (aka non-minimalism) and dancepop, she has been getting a lot of backlash. But, it also has to do with the era's lack of cohesiveness, her being less relatable and her seemingly leading everything by herself and being surrounded by yesmen & fans that think she is a god who does no wrong.

“Everybody thought it was going to be Lady Gaga, but where is she right now, what’s going on with her?” Ne-Yo said.
“Not to take anything away from her because she’s ridiculously talented, but artists who stand the test of time – you just don’t see those any more.”

This situation is absolutely ridiculous. Obviously jayxxxte's post was hateful and a ridiculous exaggeration, but what she said is the opposite extreme. This girl is giving Gaga all of the power: saying that if Gaga feels her fans are ungrateful, that she will just stop.
The truth is, Gaga should be grateful to her fans for collectively giving her millions upon millions of dollars and helping her become one of the biggest popstars in the world. It never matters how big you get, your fans can and will always make or break you. Gaga is breaking up her fanbase right now, and it has less to do with the negativity within her fanbase than her actions herself. From my experience with stanbases, they are all negative to a degree, they all discuss charts, and they all have some delusional members. She or her technological team should be aware of this, but instead they are trying to parent her fans and tell them what to do and how to act online.
Her goal of a positive internet is admirable, and I agree with her, but she ends up looking hypocritical in most cases. She should know that her fans have a right to be concerned with what has been going on with her management and music, because (most of them) invest money into her. Internet pop culture and social media means fans are going to speak their mind, and that means she has to be willing to read criticism.
There's so much wrong with this era, and I've seen many of her most devoted fans lose their passion. It's time for her to look at herself and stop scapegoating. While I think ARTPOP is her best record, most people do not, and she should read criticisms of the album and assess why there is a contrast between fans response between THEN and NOW. Is she the it girl to hate? Is it truly a creative block? These are things she needs to assess and decide for herself.
As a fan who wants to see her happy and at a constant career peak (as well as see her fanbase happy), I have some future recommendations. These are not recommendations meant to hinder her creative process, as I admire her determination to be an individual artist, but these are suggestions that in my opinion, represent what a lot of people have been saying. ARTPOP is full of great work, but the imagery/theme is the main issue for a lot of people. I would love a more cohesive imagery to coincide with her fascinating creative process. The tech imagery was my favorite from this era, and it was beautiful.
This era is just a bump in the road, and I look forward to the rest of her already amazing career.

The thing that drives me crazy is that the era started with that minimalist-tech aesthetic, and then she just threw it away

The minimalist trend right now is probably the public knee-jerk reaction to the theatrical trend that Gaga started. Adele and her music being so warmly accepted by the public in that year 2011 speaks volumes.

I agree.
It starts with getting her off the coke first.
But she just looks so defeated. Her confidence is just gone.

“She’s what I call a meteor – singers who entertain people for a while. Hey, there’s nothing wrong with that.
But then there are people like Neil Young who show up at Glastonbury 40 years into their career. And that’s a very different kind of artist.
Neil Young doesn’t have to get his bum out on stage!
The question is, will Lady GaGa be playing alongside Neil Young at Glastonbury in 20 years time?
She wants to entertain people. Right now, half the world is depressed and they need to be entertained. So her timing’s perfect.”

The fact that some Gaga stans are still arrogant is hilarious. Anybody can come for her now. Literally anybody.

The thing is Gaga is MORE than capable of embracing that trend while still being "different," or just being different in a tolerable way. The Applause video was really good.
Everything was going fine up until she went to the UK and started dressing like a bird and iamamiwhoami on angel dust

ArtPop is my fave album by her too ... I could do without some of those Born This Gay left overs ... I think she just needs to tone down some reinvent Lady Gaga
