So Bruno is doing the Super Bowl this year. If he announces that he's going to release an album, but then doesn't and continues to lay low and builds hype doing different business endeavours, until around December when he does release, obviously it will do big numbers. In the US at least

But of course his singles will be successful too compared to Beyonce whose commercial success stops at albums.

You can twist that....who else besides ADELE (who is obviously an anomaly) has sold 30 million albums in the last 8 years? Rihanna is the best selling female, albums AND singles since her debut.

Pink sold 5.5 million copies of TTAL and it's being touted as huge and whatnot but Funhouse was released 4 years prior. From 2008-2014, Pink sold 15 million albums. Rihanna sold 20+ in that same span yet she's considered a complete singles artist whereas Pink is a great album seller.

It's not easy to keep selling albums on a yearly basis. If it was, everyone would do it.
