If you gave Lana Pure Heroine, it'd be very good but Lorde has so much potential to grow, even though she's quite good already. All of those sounds are quite enjoyable (Love Me as in the Prism song?) but there's just a lack of standout tracks in pop this year the the Grammy nominations sort of reflect that.

None of Lana's songs were significant hits so you can't really say "in a post Lana world." Maybe you can say that about her visuals, but not about a hit song.

Lana's songs weren't hits on the charts but she's very well known. The album sales and streams show she has a very strong presence in music and she's clicking with the gp. Born to Die was cited by Lorde as inspiration as well as the production being mimicked on some of the new stuff from Bey, Miley, and Natalia Kills.

I think ARTPOP is full of radio-ready material.
Born this Way was just so meaningful but heavy at times and ARTPOP is so enjoyable but kind of pointless.

I loved Yours Truly at first but now it seems so juvenile and childish
It's funny how Lorde is 17 and much younger than Selena, Demi, Miley, Ariana yet Pure Heroine is much better and more mature than their efforts
