I've grown to accept that critics will love everything he does because Yeezus is such a forgettable piece of work, and this comes from someone who loves all of his work.

They don't follow them, but people always see the end-of-the-year lists, and I promise 99% of the reactions to seeing Yeezus at #1 was a big ol' eye roll.

Yeezus is his best album if you take out the first two tracks. It's the critics' fault for giving his earlier albums so much acclaim because this one obviously deserves the most acclaim.

I think when something gets massive acclaim or garners a bunch of attention then the public (or at least black Twitter) become informed.

Like Bey's album going #1 in 100+ countries, a lot of random regular ass people on Twitter were posting screenshots of Kworb (no doubt circulated from a stan account), but now they know.

Just like people know Channel Orange was massively acclaimed. Word travels fast, especially on social media.
