Depends on the context; it's not a solid thing. Unless there are good intentions behind the post as a whole or it's a fan of the artist saying that the song or album is trash, I generally warn it because you can express distaste in a much more civilized manner, but it does depend on who is posting it and why.

How is having an opinion and calling something trash flame bait? This is why we can't have Blogs, NHB, etc cause y'all always act 5 an get offended and want everything warned and shutdown.
And no offense but aren't most of y'all adults but still cry over everything then like to say this site is full of 12 year olds?

You're overreacting a little considering I DID say it depends on context. You can call something trash without it being flamebait, but it's just as easy to call something trash and make it point-worthy.

It's not really flamebait, in my opinion. The "it's not civilized" argument would be valid if ATRL was a civilized place. But that is far from the case. ATRL, in its current incarnation, is equivalent to 5th grade teachers restricting 11th grade students, essentially. (i.e. Say: "This album is not good." Don't say: "This album is trash, children.") Who really cares, you know? We're all adults. If you can't handle someone calling a song or album trash, then you have bigger problems. Not to mention, a member shouldn't have to traverse to SYG (the most extreme place for trolling on ATRL, a place where members joke about death) just to say an album or song is trash. The statement is just a negative opinion -- nothing more, nothing less. Even professional critics say things far worse. Just my two cents on the matter.

It all depends entirely upon context. Your argument about having bigger problems is kind of a slippery slope, though - it could be applied to the entirety of the shade on ATRL in some effort to make flamebait somehow allowed, you know? It's alright to have extremely negative opinions, but to express them in an inflammatory manner is deserving of points in my opinion. Remember that flamebait is something that could ignite an argument - if you say something is trash without making it flamebait (ie. without fishing for arguments or posting something that could lead to a fight) you're good.

Most of the time no; things like "Legend X", "the Lord", and the disturbing new trend of calling Rihanna "Icon" (with no "the"), are all allowed, but anything that mangles the actual name of the artist is not allowed, eg. Slayty, FameGa, Godney, Beysus etc.
