I don't know. It hasn't really had time to set in. I mean it just got sent to radio, was put for purchase, etc. I don't get where ya'll get this unreal expectation of smashing out the gate.
Even Peaches her singles during IASF didn't come out punching. She usually made up for that with airplay (seeing as she was the #1 airplay artist of last decade).
iPod her "Diarrhoeamounts" reached #1 on iChunes worldwide less than 6hrs later and there wasn't a video
The US has some really nice cities, not even talking about the most "popular" ones, but places like Seattle, Portland, >>>
I think mostly Americans feel the US is the "best country in teh world!11!" because the landscape is so diverse. We've got rainforests and deserts, we've got states covered in snow for most of the year and then states that rarely even gets a rainstorm. Like, Alaska vs. Hawaii. Or Vegas vs. Denver. The US is so vast that Americans feel most things they could find in other countries, they already have. Sometimes I forget that Texas is bigger than every European country 'cept Russia. That makes no sense to me

Because it was new.... whereas 1 million people already have XO. I mean you could argue that Unlistenable barely reached #1 on album charts when it had a full week to sell. You're comparing (rotten) apples to peaches. It just doesn't work.
