why hillary as opposed to christie? well first of all socially I'm a liberal. And while I don't mind Christie's cost cutting ideal (and support it in fact), the way he's gone about doing that (in NJ) is rather sloppy. His disregard for school cuts shows that he is more focused on his short-term goal of quickly decreasing size of gov without thinking about the infrastructure of the future. One reason I wouldn't mind him winning however is that he's not crazy conservative but most of all it's because he actually puts plans into action. While I don't agree with all of his plans, there's nothing worse than an inept politician who can't get anything done successfully - Obama.
Hillary has tons of experience in so many different political arenas. She's not afraid to do whatever it takes to get her **** done (see 2008 primary campaign). Her background in both foreign policy and economics prime her to tackle the biggest issues that will face the country in the coming decade. In addition, she's been in Washington for so long in so many different roles that I know she too will be able to put her plans into action. She has all the right connections in Washington and knows how to play the game
