Her 2009 album is Diamond + 3x platinum + gold in Mexico and she didn't even bothered to promote. It's also platinum (latin) in the US, so she's somehow relevant.
I understand -- clearly she has or had some relevance with some portion of the US population to be able to get a star in the first place; however, the person I was responding to posted an idiotic picture listing the ages of JLo/Xtina etc. and Britney's as if they wouldn't have been able to get stars far earlier than when they chose to purchase them. My point was that someone with such little relevance in the US mainstream was able to purchase, clearly J.Lo/Xtina/Bey could have opted to do so far earlier in their careers as they were all much bigger stars as far as the general American public was concerned.

Nah she was still around in 2011-2012. BTW sold well and the tour did great. It was just now with CHARTTOP that she seems to be down and out, like Amy Adams's chances at winning an Oscar.
