Don't get me wrong, I'll admit he is a musical genius, but he raped and molested all these young girls and frankly that's unforgivable in my opinion. Michael Jackson is the king of pop but he was also a child molester. No matter how great their music or performances are, this will remain a fact.

People rarely decide what they like and dislike in terms of entertainment based on the person.

Michael Jackson, Roman Polanski, Woody Allen, etc. were/are all messes, but I doubt anyone's gonna deny their legend status, especially the latter two.

I was reading about this same event this morning. R. Kelly is one of the biggest R&B stars ever, if he went to jail for something LIKE THIS it would be huge for sure, but that's the same reason he ain't putting one foot in a prision cell, as long as people like Gaga, Justin Bieber or even Whitney when she was alive work with him

But the point is they're both very successful.

A lot of people hated Michael Jackson before he died, and continue to do so, but he would have played to sold-out venues for his comeback without much effort had he lived.
