A&S better win this one, I mean it.

They could totally be the Sonny & Cher of this generation and I can see them going far especially since all their covers have been charting pretty well on iTunes and with the industry being into that indie / folk sound right now.

I also feel that A&S haven't used any sob story to win over America, their story has always been "We are two college kids who love music and want to pursue it." instead of the constant "I'm homeless & broke" or "I have to win for my child." back stories EVERY WEEK. Not saying those are fake or anything, but it starts to seem like a marketing plan to get votes and it also gets annoying when Carlito starts milking the Latino community half way through the season, like just use America as a whole to make it a fair vote instead of trying to win brownie points.

Either way, I hope A&S gets it because they have been true and pretty much simple through this whole competition making music the forefront of their performances without all that glitz and glam and extra ********.

They are so caught up in that, that they don't realize none of these things matter in the music industry. If you're not mainstream or have global appeal you might as well not have a successful career.

Anyone who wants Jeff to win basically wants him to get the $1 million contract, release a single that will chart on the bubbling under chart while the album debut with less than 20,000 copies in its first week (an embarrasment for an XF act again). After his debut album he'll fade and his label will drop him.


A&S has the XF. And the people who will vote/have voted for them are the ones who want to seee XF's first success story. People realize that they made a mistake to get consumed by people's life story (Melanie, Tate) that they didn't consider viability, longevity and global impact. A&S are slaying iTunes without being signed which is an indication of all 3 things I mention above.

I really hope, for the sake of talent and success that America chose Alex & Sierra.

I love both Jeff and A&S; but I want A&S to win. It kinda sucks that I have to say that because I am huge fan of Jeff Gutt since last season; but, A&S could be XF's first success story.

The winner shouldnt win because they have family to support or because they are so nice they deserve it, they should win because they are talented, consistent and have a shot at commercial success. And the only finalists who tick all those boxes are A&S.

Jeff has relied too hard on a sob story and his genre is outdated, by a long shot he could be a one hit wonder but I see nothing more happening for him outside of a niche audience.

it would be sad ,both kelly and paulina have a career three time longer than Demi Lovato , why they should sing her songs? insteed they could sing a classic song or a christmas song togheter it would be nteresting!

i doubt it , it's promotion in a mainstream level , everyone would like it! probably it's her genre that doesn't suit for the show standard, it's rare to see r&b artist to perfom n that kind of show (who generally pefer mainstream / pop music) ,and anyway except for gone her most fanous singles are about sex i guess it's not appropriate...
