For me BEYONCE the album+release reaffirm what I've always felt about Beyonce in general: she's not as musically adventurous or interesting as critics/award committees give her credit for, but she's a very smart businesswoman and role model, a very hard working performer and someone who exudes the kind of old-school starpower the likes of Rihanna and Katy will never have even with 20 more #1s. Plus she did Obsessed which is always a good thing.
But in light SHITPOP, BIOJEAN, BANGED and PISSM I can't really complain about her music anymore.
Anyway, THANK GOD I don't let success or critics sway my opinions.

This is corny af but that voice! You cannot deny that voice.
The "turn that cherry out" part of Blow is cute but do Timbaland/JT know how to make any other sound beside that beatboxing ********? It's so annoying, they do it all the damn time.
I miss when Beyonce made catchy commercial music. Destiny's Child jams are >>>> But I like Hooklesscé too. 4 is much better than this current album tho. Maybe it's because I'm more partial to oldschool R&B vs. moody/modern R&B feel but I think songs like Love on Top, Schoolin Life, and Party I'll go back to in years time more than the songs on her new cd.
