I commented in kyleaustin's thread about him meeting up with whateeeeva when he's went on numerous occasions saying he doesn't do interracial dating and doesn't find black men attractive. So I jokingly stated that basically it's ironic that he would completely contradict himself and go on a date with one of the most ratchet members on this site and I guess he took offense to it and called himself "dragging" me and saying I hop on every closeted black dick in here.

Some White gays have the idea that "gay is the new Black": that the oppression of gays has replaced the now non-existent oppression of people of color. The truth is that both forms of oppression have always existed and both are still HUGE problems.
What everyone should understand is that you cannot and will not ever fully understand an experience that is not your own, and therefore have no right to speak on that experience. You won't catch me telling some LGBT person to stop complaining about homophobia (or telling a woman not to complain about sexism), which is why I hate to be told not to speak about racism.
The reason some White gays are so surprisingly insensitive is because they do not know what it's like to suffer racism; they only know about homophobia, which is similar, yet still an entirely different beast than racism.
