One listen to "Hard" gives you the idea that it's less about self-empowerment, and more of an exaggeration of her own power. It's a less-offensive "Bow Down".

Every artist is a role model, regardless. If they influence or alter a person's opinion, they
are essentially a role model.
The race for No. 1 between the two titles was closer this week than last week. A week ago, a 20% difference in overall Hot 100 points separated the songs. This week, with "The Monster" up by 3% and "Timber" climbing by 8%, the margin lessens to 15%.
BEYONCÉ cancelling out the attention on Rihanna and Eminem's "The Monster" is really, really
benefiting "Timber" on Billboard. No one even knows "The Monster" video is even out.
"Timber" to snatch #1 in a couple weeks? We'll see. Should be quite the spectacle.
