All Avril needs is a radio support which is depending on the sound of the song. Sorry, but I knew from the beginning a song like HTNGU or RNR would NEVER work......Mike Will Made It is one of the most current producers. If they made a good rhytmic record with a cool beat (and maybe a feature ) & then just announced it and dropped it I think she would succeed. I mean she still has 47M likes on FB and a legacy If it would flop, it would flop, there would be no big harm. But if it smashed she could start recording a new album quickly (or throw out the AL leftovers)

You know I love you like XO but you're wrong. She can't afford to venture to a new musical path. She needs to go back to her roots. She's almost there with Avril Lavigne but she needs to completely turn down or, if possible, kill the teen pop vibe, lyrics, style and image. She needs to go back to some serious/pseudo-deep pop rock and I think she'll be forgiven.

Why? It's not even that hard. I mean Avril calls L.A. or Miley , they arrange it, the recording sessions would take like one week MAX and here we have a new song. Avril's only hope now is to either get signed to a massive label, receive a reinvention or go down the country route. Since the first will never happen, I guess we better brace ourselves for that country record "Avril Ramona" produced by Chad and David Hodges. I honestly don't know which route she can take without selling herself out. She's done her pop-rock thing in upbeat, dark, and easy listening ways, and of course ballads, but always with the same instruments. If she were to "reinvent" herself by recording typical EDM songs it'd just be a disaster and I'd so not be here for it. Maybe she should go on a hiatus, have a baby and live for a bit.

If you ask me, Avril needs to leave Epic. She'd get picked up really quick by another record label. I know LA Reid is the head of Epic Records and he's the one that first signed her and stuff, but they're holding her back. This album deserves to have all the success in the world and it's not because Epic keeps screwing up everyone's careers. She's not gaining anything by staying at Epic.
