Diamonds on the other hand, is the WORST.
It sounds like a demo and builds up to nothing.
!!!! I hate that it just repeats and it has no bridge to give it some lyricism and break up the repetitiveness of the song.
That's also why I can't get into WFL.
So many masterpieces on it. Rocket, Blow, Partition, and Haunted are all 10's. ***Flawless and Mine are 9.5, Superpower and Blue are a 9, Heaven and Drunk in Love are 8.5, XO, Pretty Hurts and Jealous are 8
Pretty Hurts is in the same category as blow tho. Both are 10s.
We went from disagreeing on everything to agreeing on everything.
People here don't hear a lot of R&B because they don't give it a chance, Fantasia has one of the best albums of the year and many won't ever hear it. Lorde as well, but many black people will never hear it.
Beyonce just so happens to be very popular amongst all races of people, what kinda Icon?
Also, I'm in the minority, but I think ARTPOP is Gaga's best album. The imagery/cohesiveness of the overall era is really jumbled & messy, but I really enjoy the music itself.
The majority of the complaints I see about Gaga are about her image, her outfits and her fanbase. The amount of people who dislike her music seems regular for a popstar, yet she's really not performing up to par regardless.
ie: Do What U Want is possibly her best song, but it's selling poorly on US iTunes.
I'm with you. At first I thought the album was really loud and noisy and it really turned me of but over time I've really come to love this album. Its her best work.
Bey stans just find the poppiest song on an album & proceed to drag it.
Some of them can be as indie as she thinks she is, but that song is BAD.
It's just too noisy. Although the message behind the song and video are brilliant.
