It's another album, another concept, another moment. 4 was all about raw vocals and angry midtempos, this time around her voice is more mellow, smooth and - as one of the reviews perfectly said - creamy.
But I kind of agree with you on the first complaint. The transition from one song to another is too abrupt (except for Ghost/Haunted that does it very well), more like they're two different tracks that happened to share the same time space.
I'm kinda obsessed
